Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter
Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter is made from organic peanuts and coconut. These two ingredients are the only ingredients! That's right, this product contains no other additives, preservatives, or sweeteners. This means that this spread is 100% organic and healthy!
The texture of the coconut peanut butter was surprising. When I first received it, the temperature was cooler. The peanut butter was very hard and I was wondering how it could even be spread on bread. When I went to review the product, it was hot outside and the peanut butter was watery. The directions stated that this may happen and that it would need mixed. It was still a bit watery even after doing this. By itself, I did not like the taste too much. It tasted very oily, so I thought that it may work better in a recipe.

No-bake Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Balls
Here is a recipe that I found on the Tropical Traditions website.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons coconut flour
Directions:
Thoroughly mix all ingredients together in a bowl. If the mixture is too sticky, add more coconut flour; if it is too dry, add more peanut butter.
Roll peanut butter mixture into small balls using your hands or a cookie scoop. Store in the refrigerator.
Results: The peanut butter balls took less than 5 minutes to make and were DELICIOUS! The honey and chocolate chips made the perfect sweet combination. The coconut in the peanut butter was only slightly evident, which I liked. This recipe is definitely going in my file! I took them to work to share and they were gone in less than 30 minutes. So, it looks like I will be using the coconut peanut butter for recipes rather than eating it on bread. Hmmm...I think I can live with that!
