Truvia is a natural sweetener made with rebenia, the best-tasting part of the stevia leaf. This zero calorie sweetener can be used as a sugar substitute in your morning coffee and tea, or you can sprinkle it on your cereal. One packet of Truvia natural sweetener provides the same sweetness as two teaspoons of sugar! You can also bake with Truvia, and their website contains a bunch of delicious looking recipes!
I have not yet had the opportunity to bake with Truvia, but I will soon after looking at all their recipes! Check out this yummy looking raspberry oatmeal bar! I have, however, had the opportunity to use Truvia as a sugar substitute in some tea. I really enjoyed the taste. It was sweet and I enjoyed the flavor. Some of the other sweeteners on the market can leave an unpleasant aftertaste which I did not experience with Truvia. I spoke to an old classmate of mine recently and I complimented her quick weight-loss after having a baby. She said she avoids sugar and uses Truvia instead and attributes her weight loss to this!
There are also a lot of products on the market that use Truvia as a sweetener to include, but not limited to, Coca Cola Sprite Green, Kraft Crystal Light Pure Fitness, All Sport Naturally Zero, and Dippin' Dots Ice Cream!
Bottom line: This is a great product for people who want sweetness and a wasteline! I guess you can have your cake and eat it too.
Buy it here: Truvia products are available at local retail locations and can also be purchased in bulk from Amazon.
