Foodie Friday: Popsicle Review and GIVEAWAY!! 5 winners! **ENDED**

Grabbing a Popsicle on a hot summer day has become almost an American tradition. I certainly have fond memories of sharing these icy treats with friends as a child. My children, are no strangers to Popsicles either!

Since I was a child, Popsicle has been working hard to come up with new and tasty products, create a fun website, and offer great promotions to their customers. Their website has a game zone for kids with some really fun activities that may even leave the parents addicted! Popsicle just recently released a brand new snack, and I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to try it along with one of their other products.  Their new Jolly Rancher Popsicles contain cherry, blue raspberry, green apple, and grape flavors. I was amazed at how much these smelled and tasted like Jolly Ranchers. I could smell the sweet fruit scents from across the room and the taste was just as flavorful as the candy version. My kids both really loved them. I also liked that there were 24 Popsicles in each box. They were on sale at my local grocer for $2.50 a box, which means each Popsicle was only about 10 cents each!

The second Popsicle treat we tried was the Spongebob Pop-Ups. The Pop-Ups came in lemonade & strawberry and lemonade & orange flavors.  My kids liked these a lot, probably because they were Spongebob. I am not a big fat of sherbet, so I tasted these for the sake of the review but let my kids eat these ones while I chose to snack on the Jolly Rancher Popsicles. At 80 calories a Push-Pop, I did not mind them snacking on them. Both Jack and Bella gave both products a thumbs up!

 

As I mentioned, Popsicle is giving away copies of The Big Book of Fun on their website AND right here on Cake Mom!! The Big Book of Fun is exactly what the title of the book implies, a soft cover collection of puzzles and activities that will keep your kids busy for hours. The book has a 80 pages full of fun things for kids of various ages. My children had a great time with this book and they still have a lot of great puzzles to go through. Their favorites were the funny fill-ins (think Mad Libs).There is an answer key in the back, just in case you get stumped. I really like this book and enjoy any activity that gets the kids away from video games and engaged in a different way! The book retails for $6.99 and is well worth every penny.
