Savvy Rest Organic Pillow Review and GIVEAWAY!! **ENDED**

Savvy Rest has a mission to manufacture the finest non-toxic, comfortable, and durable alternative to conventional mattresses. In addition to mattresses, they also manufacture organic mattress toppers, organic bedding, organic pillows, foundations, platform beds, and adjustable beds. I have been very open minded when it comes to organic products, but never once did I consider organic bedding. So, when I was given the chance to review their Organic Soap Shape Pillow, I could not resist giving it a try!

The Soap Shape Pillow is a molded latex design that has hallow channels throughout to promote airflow. This is the lowest pillow and is ideal for children or stomach sleepers. Since I am a stomach, back, and side sleeper, I decided that this may be the best fit. The pillow retails for $79.99 for a standard, $89.99 for queen, and $99.99 for king sized. Given the price, I must admit that I had high expectations for the product.

Since changing your pillow can be a huge event, I decided that the best was to conduct the review was to journal about my experience every day for 5 days.

Night 1: I was so amazed at how HEAVY this pillow was. I could not get over it. It is a but stiffer than my old pillow, but also much fuller. My first night's sleep was not quite as restful as my typical night (this is kind of how I feel when sleeping in a hotel). I did only require this pillow, rather than two because it was so stuffed. When I woke up in the morning, I immediately noticed that my neck was not stiff! I have been taking muscle relaxers lately because of neck pain and not once did I think it was related to the way I was sleeping. I am feeling excited about trying this out the next night!

Night 2: Last night kind of felt like night #2 in a hotel. It is a bit more familiar, but still does not feel quite right. I was able to fall asleep alright and had a pretty good night's sleep. Again, when I awoke there was no neck pain (even though I was experiencing significant stress-related neck pain throughout the day prior). I am starting to like this pillow!

Night 3: As soon as I put my head on the pillow last night, it felt very comfortable. I am getting used to this pillow now and am starting to associate it with a good night's sleep. In fact, the next morning I felt more awake and energized than I had in a long time. Still no neck pain!

Night 4: Do you know that feeling you get after a really long and tiring day when you lay down on your bed and your head hits your pillow and you have that moment of, "Ahhh". Well, tonight I had an "Ahhh" moment.

Night 5: This is definitely my pillow now. Just in case, I had my old pillow sitting at the foot of my bed for the past 4 nights. Last night, I put it away. Once again, "Ahhhhhhhhh".
