TruKid is a company with a goal of spreading the word about helping our kids create healthy habits, starting with their skin. They also want kids to have fun while using their products. TruKid is a California-based company that has created a natural, value-priced skincare line. They care about your children and the environment. Their products are so obviously created for kids. The names are fun, the bottles are bold and colorful, and they use "TruKid Learning System" symbols to enable children to identify what part of the body for which the product is intended.
My kids were very excited about these products and both my son and daughter immediately guessed that the products were intended for them based on the fun colors.I really liked the smells which were very sweet. I liked that the scents coordinated. Sometimes, product lines have different scents and the result can be overwhelming if you use all the products together. This was not the case for this line of products. The shampoo and conditioner were easy to rinse out my children's hair and my daughter's long hair was very soft and and free from tangles after her bath. They both enjoyed the body wash which formed bubbles in their washclothes. The sunscreen was very easy to apply, and was the right consistency that my 7 year old son was able to apply without assistance. The lotion was also a nice consistency and easily rubbed into my son and daughter's skin. The face wash washed off great and worked like a charm.
I also really liked how the bottles had pictures indicated to the child as to the content of the bottle (for example, there was a picture of a head with hear to indicate it was shampoo). My son can read, but my daughter cannot yet so she relied on the pictures to help her choose the correct product at bathtime. These products, for whatever reason, had my kids wanting to wash all by themselves...yippee! Perhaps it was because they felt ownership of the products, but they have been great about using them all, sometimes even without prompting. I am very pleased with this products and I bet you and you kids will be too.
