Alize' Passion Liqueurs Review

Alize', the original premium passion fruit liqueur imported from France, just recently released a brand enhancement if its popular line of passion fruit based liqueur products. They have transitioned to a vodka-based spirit and their full line is now made exclusively from exotic passion fruit, all natural exotic fruit juices and smooth premium French vodka.

The line of flavors:
Alize' Red Passion
Alize' Gold Passion
Alize' Wild Passion
Alize' Rose Passion
Alize' Bleu Passion

These liqueurs can be consumed on the rocks or served in martinis, cosmopolitans, margaritas and mimosas. Their website has several recipe options. All Alize' products are 16% ABV and retail at $19.99 for 750ml and $23.99 for 1 liter.

I was given two bottles of Alize' to sample: Red Passion and Gold Passion.

Red Passion: Exotic Passion Fruit and Cranberries blended with premium French Vodka.  I was expecting these to taste more like wine. So, I unknowingly poured myself a glass and sipped, then almost fell over. This is definitely note wine! The vodka was strong and I am too much of a wimp to drink this stuff straight. So, I looked through their recipes for ideas but I did not seem to have the right mix of ingredients. I decided to add some Sunny Delight and cross my fingers that it tasted okay. It was DELICIOUS!! It was fruity and reminded me a bit of a sangria. I also tried it with some 7-up and found this to be tasty as well, though the Sunny D mix was my favorite.

Gold Passion: Exotic Passion Fruit blended with premium French Vodka. I added some of this to some hot apple cider and it, too, was very delicious. I typically do not make mixed drinks because they are not fruity enough, but the Alize liqueurs were perfect.  I would really recommend these if you like a fruity drink.

Gift Giving Guide: This is really a great product for anyone 21 and older!
