Baby Go-Go Review

Baby GoGo was created for children as a way to sooth the transition when bringing a new baby sibling home. The baby is a way for young children to mimic their parents who are caring for an infant by encouraging nurturing behaviors. The baby doll is dressed in gender-neutral clothes so it can be great for both boys and girls.

The 13 in doll comes fully dressed in a sleeper and cap and is packaged with a blanket and a book, "Baby GoGo Goes Home". The story illustrates the story of Baby GoGo's experience of being brought home from the hospital after being born. There are also optional accessories available for purchase including a diaper bag, a Moses bed, and a change of outfit.

We were given a Baby GoGo and Baby GoGo diaper bag to review. I thought that the gender neutral features were a great idea. The baby was of high quality and I appreciated how the eyes opened and closed appropriately (unlike other babies who have one eye stuck open and the other closes creating a really creepy effect!) The minute my daughter received the set, she did something she has never done with another baby. She immediately took it to the couch and pretended to be a mommy in the hospital with the baby. Then she asked me to take a bunch of pictures just like the pictures she has of her and I in the hospital. I guess this proves that the baby has a realistic look in her eyes! The diaper bag was really cute and matched the baby's gender neutral clothes. It had a plastic diaper included so Bella was able to practice changing the baby's diaper. She really liked the baby.Although I think the quality of the doll is great, I do think the price is a little steep for both the doll and the accessories.

Gift Giving Guide: Baby GoGo is great for any child, but especially great for children who are expecting a new sibling soon.

Buy it here: Baby GoGo can be purchased  from their website for $39.99. The diaper bag is available for $24.99.
