Erin Bolger, author of The Happy Baker: A Girl's Guide to Emotional Baking, has been dubbed the bake-it-yourself Carrie Bradshaw. The Harlequin-Nonfiction book is a mix of easy-to-follow recipes and personal dating vignettes. It will help you bake your way through any dating crisis!
From the publisher:
- Find yourself two-times? Try "Three's a Crowd, Rocky Road Bars," combining the irresistible trio of marshmallows, chocolate chips, and walnuts
- Found a good one? Make the "I Finally Found a Keeper Gourmet Caramel Apples," and he's sure to stick around.
- Over him? Bake the sweet-and-salty "I'm So Done with You and the Horse You Rode in on Haystack Cookies," icebox treats that bring together pretzels, chocolate and butterscotch.
I decided to try the "I Wish Tim McGraw Was My Man, Double Chocolate Blondie". The directions were super easy to follow and I appreciated how many of the recipes contained ingredients that I already had in my cupboards. The blondies turned out great. I have a feeling I will be turning to this book often for some sweet recipes and a few laughs.
