My 5 year old daughter loves modern pop music. The problem is the radio often plays songs with sexually charged lyrics, swear words, and drug references! Kidz Bop is now on its 19th edition and is a great CD that allows my daughter to sing along to popular songs without being exposed to adult themes. I have seen the commercials for years and was always a bit weary about listening to children singing pop songs. I was actually really surprised at the quality of the CD. The instrumentals were exactly like the original songs and the kids were mega talented. Some songs were edited to provide kid-friendly lyrics. My daughter loves the CD too and has had it in her CD player non-stop since were were given the opportunity to review it!
