This book is obviously written for those who are literate and want to make a real effort to create a story. Quite frankly, I think it would be a perfect read for an adult who wishes to do the same! I really like the structure of the book. The chapters get to the point, provide great examples, and contain brief exercises which allow the reader to practice the concepts.   These exercises are really great and can help make writing seem a lot less intimidating. Lisa Leopold does a really great job of explaining what to include (as well as exclude) in a great story.  I would highly recommend this book for any preteen-adult who has a desire to write but is not sure where to start!
