People have been going green for years now. They are recycling now more than ever. Plastic shopping bags are becoming a thing of the past. The internet is making it easier and easier to go paperless. Now it is time to start greening our fashion! A Green Wardrobe, founded in 2007, is a company that offers lines of clothing from international and national designers that are created from organic, sustainable, or recycled and repurposed materials. All clothes are manufactured using fair labor and fair trade and proceeds back to the community by the designer are common.
A Green Wardrobe offers women's, men's, and kid's clothes as well as accessories and lingerie. Within the women's offerings, you can find dresses, skirts, tops, pants, shorts, jackets, and leggings. I was really thrilled when I was given the opportunity to review a product and had a really difficult time selecting which one of their amazing pieces I wanted to receive! The Laura is a smocked tank with scalloped edges and adjustable straps. I love the versatility of this top. It could be paired with leggings, jeans, skits, or be worn with a sweater for cooler weather. It is really soft and comfortable and also quite flattering as it accentuates the shape of the bust and hides my not-so-flattering stomach. It is made from 100% Organic Cotton and retails for $46.00.
