ScareMeNots Review and GIVEAWAY!! **ENDED**

Both of my kids went through phases when they wee afraid of monsters and both of them are still scared of the dark.  ScareMeNots is a line of friendly plush monster dolls by Innovative Toys, Inc. The dolls are intended to be a sleeping companion for children 2-6 who are afraid of the dark and have worries about monsters in their room. The super cute and cuddly monsters are designed to become your child's protector and keep scary monsters away at night! They are designed with a long tail with Velcro so your child's ScareMeNot can hang wherever your child desires at night. If your child is afraid of closet monsters, hang the ScareMeNot on the closet. Monsters under the bed? Hang the cutie on your child's bedpost!

There are many monsters to choose from and each are really unique in their appearance as well as their "ability".  My daughter was incredibly excited to review a monster and chose "Courageous Carrie".

Here is the fun information about Carrie from the company:
Carrie is a little romantic. She fantasizes about princesses, pirates and fairies, enjoying those make-believe moments when her dream monster will sweep her away.  Carrie has a remarkable talent to smell like any ower she wishes. With a quirky "hiccup," Carrie can think of a ower and magically make it blossom from the four bulbs on her head. In an instant, the potent, owery smells -ll the room and intoxicate every monster within reach. The Academy was soimpressed that they asked Carrie to join the ScareMeNot training immediately. Carrie creates owery scents that render bedtime scaries helpless (a powerful tool against grumpy monsters)Whenever the opportunity presents itself, Carrie will get her team-mates to play make-believe. Her favorite adventure is playing "Sisterhood of Planet Pajamas" which the ScareMeNots do their best to understand (...which is not easy).
We received Courageous Carrie in a really short amount of time (less than a week).  Bella fell in love immediately. She was a really nice size and incredibly soft and cuddly. I loved the great pastel colors, which were also very appealing to Bella.  She got a real kick out of her hanging ability.  She received her monster early this week and she has refused to leave her home since. Courageous Carrie wats meals with us and even goes to preschool with Bella.
Bella has been pretty rough with her. She tosses her around and she has been to preschool with 14 little boys and girls who all wanted to play with her. After only a couple of days I had to sew her antenna, which was torn, and the Velcro on the tail, which was coming off. Bella did not mind and I was able to easily mend these areas.  I let my ScareMeNot contact know of the problem and I could not have asked for better customer service. She was appalled at the problem and is sending me a replacement and another monster and sending on the issue to the manufacturer to do some quality control.  That is certainly good enough for me to easily forgive the problem and still recommend this product!

I really think that ScareMeNot is a great idea for children. Since it is a child's opinion that really matters, Bella agreed to give a review.  According to Bella: "I like her hanging. She can hang on a chair and she can pretend to fly with her wings. She has hair and she is a little baby with one tooth. I feel very good about her. I hug her because she is so good. I love her so much!"
