TheraBreath Review

TheraBreath is a premium oral care system created by Doctor Harold Katz at the California Breath Clinics.  The system is designed to address bad breath, halitosis, dry mouth, taste disorders (sour, bitter, metallic). They have quite a selection of oral hygiene products and I was given the opportunity to review three of them.

TheraBreath Toothpaste is one of the company's best selling item. It is designed to control the bacteria that causes bad breath. It also promotes good gum health and is cavity fighting.  The product retails for $10.50 per tube.  I am used to breath freshening tasting extremely minty. TheraBreath, however, has a very mild taste. The paste is quite thick and clear in color.  It definitely cleaned my teeth and my husband confirmed that my breath was odorless after use. 

TheraBreath Oral Rinse  is meant to use after brushing teeth with TheraBreath Toothpaste. The rinse uses  OXYD-8 for treating bad breath, stopping halitosis and eliminating sour, bitter and metallic tastes in your mouth. The taste of the rinse is very mild as well. It is hard to believe it can be effective because all other rinses are so intense; however, it works as promised.  One rinse in the morning has me feeling confident about my breath the rest of the day. The product retails for $10.50 a bottle.

One of TheraBreath's newest products are Mouth Wetting Lozenges.  They are more than just breath mints as they are designed to make your moth fresh, moist, and healthy.  The lozenges are made with a citrus mint formula that contains zinc, oxygen, and Xylitol.  The product certainly did as promised; however, the taste was not pleasant.  For me, the mixture of mint and citrus is not a good combination (have you ever taken a drink of orange juice after brushing your teeth?)  A box of the individually wrapped lozenges retails for $13.00.
