TVTopTen.Com Review and Nutrisystem GIVEAWAY!! **ENDED**

My kids are suckers for infomercials and "as seen on TV" products.  As soon as they see that type of commercial, they instantly believe that they or I NEED it, no matter what it is. TVTopTen.com is a site for all things "as seen on TV".  They rate and rank the ten best "as seen on TV" products so you can buy with confidence.  You can read customer reviews and get the low down on all of those products that, at times, seem too good to be true!  The have ratings for products in the following main categories: automotive, beauty & grooming, health & nutrition, housewares, kitchen, money & business, pet supplies, sports & fitness, tools & hardware, and toys and entertainment. 

I was given the opportunity to sample products from one of the most popular diet brands: Nutrisystem! I have always heard very positive things about Nutrisystem and have known several people who lost a lot of weight with the diet. I believe it can work, but was always curious if the taste was palatable or not.  Here is what I thought:


Lowfat Granola Cereal - I love granola and was very excited to try this product. You get a small serving and are to add fat free milk for the complete meal.  One packet was 160 calories and was enough for me for a light breakfast and I thought the taste was delicious.  I did, however, find that I was hungry 1&1/2 hours later.


Cranberry Orange Pastry - I thought it tastes like a cake and the cranberry and orange are a sweet blend. I was, however, not a fan of the aftertaste.

Double Chocolate Caramel Bar - Yummy! It was quite tasty and I would have liked it whether it was a diet bar or not. I also found it quite filling.  It was a lunch time bar and one bar was 190 calories.

Vegetarian Chili - I am just not a big fan of beans so I am probably not the best person to review the vegetarian chili made with water, tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, pink beans, and other veggies.  It was flavorful and I liked that it was only 1.5 grams of fat.  Chili, particularly vegetarian chili, is just not a food for me, diet or not!

Rotini with Meatballs & Tomato Sauce - I was a bit worried that this would taste like leftover spaghetti (some of the red sauce microwaveable meals can be quite gross), but I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. It was good and filling. I added a little garlic flavoriing to it and enjoyed it overall.

So, could I do Nutrisystem full time to lose weight? I think I could. The tastes are better than a lot of other diet foods and I appreciate their huge selection of meals and snacks!
