Mother's Day Gift Idea: for the new mom or soon-to-be mom!
Chicken Soup for the Soul books have been comforting people with stories of hope and encouragement since I was a child. The books include a series of 101 short stories that focus on the particular theme of the book. I received a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul: New Moms.
The book is organized into the following chapters:

A book such as this is perfect for new moms not only because of the content, but because of the design. New mothers hardly have time to sit down and read, but each story is short. So, a woman who loves to read can fit in a story in between feedings and diaper changes! This would also be perfect for a woman who is expecting. The stories are, as always, a nice mix between inspirational and witty. I found myself smiling a lot more reading this book than other Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Perhaps it is because I find babies so irrisistable!
