Allergies. Ick. Like it or not it is allergy season. It seems like everywhere I go I hear people sniffing and sneezing. I am certainly one of those people and I am miserable in the spring. Boiron, a world leader in homeopathy, created Sabadil to address common allergy symptoms.
Sabadil is formulated to provide temporary relief from itchy nose, sneezing, runny nose, and/or itchy and watery eyes. It is a non-drowsy formula and comes in the form of dissolvable tablets. Homeopathic medicines are considered to be safe and Sabadil is marketed as having no drug interactions. It can be used for allergy sufferers age 6 and up.
I found Sabadil to be very effective in treating my allergy symptoms. However, the directions for use make it difficult to take appropriately. You need to begin taking it at the onset of allergy symptoms by taking 2 tablets every 15 minutes for 1 hours and then take 2 tablets three times a day. I made it through :45 minutes of responsibly following the recommendations before getting distracted and forgetting to take the last initial dose. I also easily lost track of how many times I took it throughout the day.
Bottom line: it works as well as the over-the-counter medication I am using with less side effects. However, the sheer number of pills you need to take a day is a deterrent.
