I really like potatoes, but it is a dish I rarely make because of all the hassle of peeling and dicing. Simply Potatoes strives to offer you home cooked potato taste without all the associated work!
Check out their variety:
Mashed - Traditional,Country Style, Garlic, Sour Cream and Chive, Sweet Potato
Cut Potatoes: Shredded Hash Browns, Southwest Style Hash Browns, Diced Potato with Onion, Homestyle Slices, Red Potato Wedges, Rosemary & Garlic Red Potato Wedges
Side Dishes: Macaroni & Cheese
First off, I had a difficult time finding the products in my town. I was given two free product coupons and it seemed like I could not find the products anywhere. I finally found some Hash Browns in the egg section of my local Walmart (I just happened upon them when I was getting some eggs). Then, I goofed. I threw them in the freezer when I got home instead of reading the directions which indicate that these should be kept in the refrigerator. As a result, the Hash Browns did not cook up right. It was totally my fault so I used my second coupon to give it another try. Success! The refrigerated Hash Browns cooked up nicely and reminded me of those that we get at a local restaurant. We made them with some sunny side eggs and toast. They were easy to make and since I did not have to shred potatoes, the meal saved tons of time. Plus, I suspect my homemade Hash Browns would not have tasted quite as good!
