Chocoley Review, Free Course Info, and Discount Code!

Chocolate. Need I say more? It is one of the most treasured treats and guilty pleasures of all time. If you have ever made candy molds using craft-store chocolates, you know they are not the finest chocolates around. Chocoley is a family owned and operated online chocolate business devoted to creating delicious tasting chocolate made from the highest quality ingredients. Their chocolate is designed to be molded and crafted, though you can expect higher quality. Their chocolate is peanut free, tree nut free, egg free, celiac safe and AKC Kosher dairy certified.

Unlike other chocolate manufacturers, Chocoley offers their product in a variety of flavors and thickness levels and are made in America from the Belgian tradition.  Due to the variety of offerings, chocolate lovers can find the perfect combination to fit any application.

I received an End of the Rainbow Chocoley Care Package to review and could not have been more excited! Contained in the package were the following:
CocoaLava Gourmet Liquid Chocolate: A mixture of dark and milk chocolate, this product is heat stable and stays in a liquid state at room temperature. Frozen, it transforms into a ganache-like consistency, and in this state it can be dipped in chocolate. When the outer shell hardens, the CocoaLava will return to a liquid state, giving you a chocolate-liquid filled treat! In addition, it can be used to dressing dessert plates, glazing baked goods, and to make hot cocoa.
Chocoley Bada Bing Bada Boom Compound Chocolates: These chocolates require no tempering and are meant to actually taste good.   All you have to do is melt and use! The candy melts are available in milk, white, dark, and extra dark flavors. They can be used to make molded candy, turtles, fudge, dipped products, and more.
Chocoley's New Fair Trade, Organic 65% Dark Couveture Chocolate:  Brand new (without a formal name), this chocolate requires tempering unless you are making fudge, ganache, or eating it straight.
Chocoley Caramel: The ready-to-use Caramel can be used to make caramel apples, filled chocolates, turtles, and more.  Please note: the caramel products are made in a separate factory and may contain peanuts, tree nuts, or eggs.

5 Caramel Apple Sticks

Review:
This chocolate really lived up to its promise to be delicious and easy to work with. I have tried to work with candy in the past, but my attempts have been met with minimal success. This chocolate, on the other hand, melted so smoothly that even my children were easily able to work with it to whip up some delicious treats for Mother's Day gifts for their grandmothers.  We used the melting chocolates to make molded candies.  Each and every one of the chocolates was absolutely incredible.  I am not a fan of dark chocolate, but even these were mouth-watering.  Aside from the amazing taste, I really liked how shiny the chocolates turned out. This is much different than the dull results I have achieved with craft store chocolates!

We used the caramel to dip some cut apples in and this too was unbelievable.  It was, again, really easy to work with and only needed to be combined with evaporated milk and melted on a double boiler. This treat quickly became a favorite for my children and I!  We did not get the opportunity to get too creative with the Cocoa Lava yet, but have hopes to in the future. My kids really love to have chocolate syrup over strawberries so we taste-tested it and LOVED it. It is much better than the Hersheys syrup we usually use.

Finally, we decided to try a recipe contained in the kit and make some fudge. I have never made fudge before and I am not sure what I did, but it did not harden. We ended up having to eat the fudge with a spoon but no one complained because it had an incredible taste.  It was messy, but worth it!
