Band-aid/Neosporin Review and GIVEAWAY!! **ENDED**

When I say the word "summer", you may picture lazy days in the sun, family get-togethers, and days sleeping in. In reality, for moms summer is often filled with scrapes, bruises, and cuts from bicycle mishaps, sporting accidents, and contacts trips and falls. Neosporin and Band-Aid products are a must-have this time of year and I always keep my first aid kit well stocked with these trusted brands.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review some great products, and I have certainly put them to use!
NEOSPORIN®’s NEO TO GO! Spray - This is a portable antiseptic and pain relieving spray that is easy to use and prevents infection from minor scrapes, cuts and burns. This is great item to pack, especially for trips with kids or any outdoor adventures, so a little scrape or cut does not get in the way of a great time.

BAND-AID® Brand Decorated Adhesive Bandages - Kids will love covering up their cuts and scrapes with fun, character Band-Aids.  They make healing fun and are perfect to bring wherever your travels may take you!  They include Cars (which will be great fun with the Cars 2 coming out later this season!), Dora the Explorer, Disney Princesses, Hello Kitty, Toy Story and more.  Some newer Band-Aids also include Phineas & Ferb and Disney Fairies.

Review: Of course, I have used both brands before but I was excited to see the new designs from Band-aid and I had never tried the Neo To Go Spray.  The bandages are adorable.  The adhesive is just sticky enough to stay put on skin, yet removes from the skin with ease when it is time to remove or change the bandage. They work just as well as classic Band-aids, but something about the adorable characters seem to make my children feel better a little faster. Of course, both enjoy showing off their "battle wounds" and telling stories to their friends about their injuries. In reality, neither of my children have broken skin but they still seem to need that emotional "boo-boo baid" as they have called them since babies.  I really love the Neo To Go Spray. It comes in a convenient container that fits in your purse or pocket. The spray is much easier to apply on-the-go as opposed to the thick ointment which tends to cause quite a mess.

Win it here: One lucky Cake Mom reader is going to win an assortment of Band-Aid products and some Neosporin Neo To Go!
