Review: We received three CakeShooters to review. When we received them we had just come come from camping and the package had cooling elements in them to keep them from melting. The coolers were melted so I stuck the CakeShooters in the refrigerator assuming they needed to be kept chilled. I assumed incorrectly and realized the next day that they needed to be kept at room temperature. The icing chilled too much and peeled off the top cake layer. My children did not mind that I needed to re-frost them and they absolutely loved the taste.
I convinced them (and my husband who grabbed the third) to let me take a little bite of each of the CakeShooters. Each of them were absolutely rich and delicious. They really do taste as good as they look. The only thing I would have liked to see done differently is to put the flavor combinations on each CakeShooter. I am not exactly sure what we sampled, but each of them was fantastic. The layers of cake and frosting were in alternating layers so the entire CakeShooter was moist and delicious. They are easy to eat and they make much less of a mess than traditional cakes or cupcakes, making them ideal for children's birthday parties.
