Foodie Friday: Elevate my Breakfast Review

Do you eat foods high in protein for breakfast? If not, you need to reconsider. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Elevate my Breakfast! has developed a breakfast bar that contains protein and whole fruit created to enhance your daily breakfast nutrition routine. Rather than using traditional granola, Elevate my Breakfast! bars are packed with real whole fruit, whey protein, almonds, and walnuts.

Each box contains seven 22g squares which are made fresh in Vancouver, BC. They are not baked or coated and are available in the following three flavors: Raspberry Cranberry Blueberry, Cocoa Dark Chocolate Chip, and Mango Papaya Coconut. Each bar is 90 calories.

Review: I try my best to follow a high protein. It helps with energy and also helps keep my sugars stable (I get hypoglycemic - low blood sugars). Even given my best attempts, I do not always succeed. However, Elevate my Breakfast! has made it very easy. The bars are small, so even if I am not overly hungry in the morning I can easily eat it. One bar, along with something else light like a piece of toast or hard boiled egg easily satisfies me.  Because granola is not used, the texture is chewy and soft rather than crunch and hard. The flavor combinations are quite tasty and I like the nice variety. Each of the main ingredients is detectable and the blend of them is very delicious. The Mango Papaya Coconut is my personal favorite but all three are really good.
