BKW Seasonings is a family-owned business. Originating in the early 1960’s, the BKW seasoning was created to produce a unique buffalo-style wing that their family has used for years cooking wings for friends and customers at football games, parties, and gatherings.
In 1997, they opened a small take-out restaurant near the University of Tennessee campus called Big Kahuna Wings. Just two weeks after opening, BKW competed with twenty-nine local, regional and national wing restaurants including Hooters, Spicy's, and Buffalo Wild Wings, among others and was voted BEST WINGS in Knoxville at the annual "War of the Wings." The Big Kahuna legend was born. The BKW Original Steak Rub is a blend of seasoning created to give your steak and extra sizzle. It enhances the flavor of the steak, while adding a rustic appearance and a "Big Kahuna" texture. It can also be used on fish, veal, and vegetables.
Review: We frequently grill in the summer and steak is one of our favorite grilled meats. So, I was very excited to give this product a try. The outcome was out of this world! I have never had such an amazing steak at home. Each and every bite was packed with flavor. The blend gave it a bit of a punch, and paired with some steak sauce, I was in heaven. If you like steak , then I would say you definitely need to give BKW Seasonings a try.
