As you probably know if you read Cake Mom, I love dogs and have two dogs who I consider a real part of our family. Although I love Butch and Princess Buttercup (guess which one is mine and which one is my husband's J), they are M-E-S-S-Y! Buttercup still makes the occasional accident in the house and both of them are really sloppy drinkers. Due to the shapes of their mouths, half of the water they drink ends up on the floor!

Review: I was given a Pet Mat and a Crate & Kennel Pad for review. The Pet Mat is truly adorable. The neutral colors match the room where the dog bowls are placed and the canine-friendly pictures are great. I am very happy with the backing. It has not moved out of place once since I put it on the floor weeks ago. It does a pretty good job of absorbing water that flows out of the mouths. My bulldog has a habit of trying to tip over the water bowl. When that happens, there is just too much water for it to absorb. Hopefully, she will get out of that phase soon and the mat will be enough to keep my floor dry.

The Crate and Kennel pad fit perfectly into the kennel they stay in when we are away from home. It also has nice neutral colors and fits in nicely with the decor of the house. The mat does not stay in place through the day. I suspect that, again my bulldog, is the reason for it being crumpled up on the side of the cage by the time I get home. I really don't think that it is just naturally moving this way but rather that she is trying to play with it (or chew on it) and it ends up everywhere but lying neatly in the cage. I started putting an additional blanket in the cage and the mat tends to stay in place now while and I suspect the blanket is now her focus. I love her but she really is a little trouble maker!
