Smitten NYC brings a whole new appeal to retro fashion. Their styles mix retro details with modern cuts to bring a vintage feel to functional styles. Simply put, the company is dedicated to making today's woman "smitten" with their designs! Smitten was founded in 2008 and the designs have been carried by over 400 specialty stores, can be found in department stores, and are featured online.
Review: I had a great time looking around their website, but a difficult time finding my favorite item because they were all so great! I finally decided on the Smitten V-Neck Top in a great raspberry color. The knit top features a ribbed middle with rouching. It is short sleeved and has a v-neck and v-back. It is 70% Viscose, 26% Cotton, and 4% Spandex. The color on this shirt is absolutely amazing and it looks great with a dark pair of jeans or black pants. It is casual enough for everyday wear but dressy enough that I was able to wear it to work (and boy did I receive a lot of compliments). It was a bit of a looser fit than I expected but the roushing and ribbed middle had a great slimming effect. It is pretty thin and my initial mistake was wearing a bra that was not seamless underneath as you could see the outline of it through the shirt. It was extremely comfortable as well and has become one of my favorites to wear to work.
