Foodie Friday: Buddy Fruit Snacks Review

If your kids are like mine, fruit snacks are a favorite. Although "fruit snacks" sounds like a healthy choice, many of the brands feature artificial colors and flavors. Buddy Fruit Bites, however, has a line of pure fruit snacks that offer  100% fruits, nothing else.  Each pack is 95 calories, one serving of fruit, and contains no preservatives, colorings, genetic modification or artificial flavoring. The snack are available in apple, orange, raspberry, and pomegranate/acai.

Review:   The packages are completely adorable and resealable!  The snacks were chewy and soft. One package was plenty to satisfy a sweet tooth.

The Pomegranate & Acai was the most delicious and flavorful fruit snack I had ever tasted. It truly did taste like the fruits and it was easy to tell that there were no artificial flavors. The snack was made with 7 slices of apple and 1 pomegranate. The flavor combination of sweet apple and sour pomegranate was delightful.

The orange flavor was delicious as well and since it contained apples, in addition to the oranges, the flavor was sweet.  These are definitely better than other fruit snacks and I would feel much better about serving these to my children than the artificial versions on the market. Plus, I can actually enjoy these as well!
