Think Geek Pivot Power Strip Review

Between cell phones, laptops, and handheld game systems, we have totally run out of outlets in our house.  My ability to charge many of my gadgets has been limited thanks to oversized power adapters that take up more than their fair share of room on my power strips. The Pivot Power Strip, available through Think Geek, is an ingenious surge protector that allows you to plug in up to 6 electronics regardless of the size of their adapter.

The Pivot Power Strip has adjustable outlets which can pivot in such a way that you can actually use all six outlets. Every plug fits into every outlet. The design also allows you to squeeze it into places power strips could never fit before and save space! The features include a six foot long cord and 672 joules of protection.

Review:  This power strip is really quite incredible by design. It can be twisted or kept straight and I love that I can plug anything at all into it. I was really excited to use it at my bedside but was disappointed when I realized that my outlet was a 2-prong and the Power Strip is a three prong. I was able to use the strip at another outlet and really like it. It is a very thick and sturdy plastic. Power cords are inserted and can be removed with ease yet the stay in place well with use. I really like the power button which is a push button rather than a switch. The length of the cord is also great so it serves as an extension cord, a surge protector, and a power cord all in one. The whole product is really brilliant and is much more useful than a classic one.

Buy it here: The Pivot Power Strip is available through Think Geek for $29.99.
