Squinkies are teeny tiny toys that come in their own individual capsule, similar to how toys come out of toy machines at the grocery store. They can be used as toys with playsets or can be placed on the end of pencils for decoration. At first created for girls, there is a large line of boy Squinkies now available.
There are a variety of series and dispensers that can be purchased. Some series are general and feature 10 Squinkies, plastic containers, and dice along with instructions on how to battle with the set. General sets include boyish items like sports figures, aliens, ninjas, and more. They also sell a variety of themed sets featuring 12 Squinkies to include Hot Wheels, Marvel Universe, and Cars 2.
Dispensers are themed and allow for easy storage of Squinkies and also allow your child to insert a token to have a Squinky dispensed. The dispensers also come with a variety of Squinkies.
Review: We were surprised when we received a box full of Squinkies in the mail. My son, who is 8, was so excited. I could not even get the box fully open when he started ripping into it saying, "Oh my gosh! I have been wanting these. I love Squinkies!" I had no idea he had wanted these. He played with them for, literally, hours. He did not follow the battle rules enclosed in the package, but did create his own "battle". His favorites were the ninjas. There were also a variety of "Extreme Ride" toys for the Squinkies which immediately turned into tanks for his "battle".
