I do not know many little boys, or girls for that matter, who have not been fascinated by trucks at some point in heir childhood. The most well-known producer of toy trucks is Tonka. One of their newest creations is the Tonka XT Ricochet Tricksters. The remote-controlled stunt vehicle allows your children to perform one of three pre-programmed stunts. There is the "Rampage Flip", the "Buzzsaw Spin" and the "Zig-Zag Jolt". Since the truck can drive on two sides, there is no problem with the truck flipping.
The truck is designed to allow your child to enhance stunts with the use of homemade ramps, stairs, and more. The Tonka XT Ricochet Trickster requires five AA batteries for the controller and one 20-30 minute charge for every 15-30 minutes of play. It is intended for indoor play only and is designed for children aged 6 and up.
Review: I was under the impression that my son had outgrown toy trucks, so I was a bit shocked when he grew excited when the Trickster arrived.Getting the truck to work was a bit, well, challenging. It does not take much to confuse me and I found myself getting a bit frustrated with my inability to immediately press a button and have it go. My eight-year-old son, who is apparently more mechanically inclined than I, was able to figure it out and enjoyed playing it. There is a reason why it is 6 and up so I would recommend not purchasing for children younger than 6. If you child is older and into trucks then this would probably be a fun purchase for him/her.
Buy it here: The Tonka XT Ricochet Trickster retails for approximately $24.99 and can be purchased from Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, and Kmart.
