Listerine Challenge: The "Before" Report

To help families encourage good dental hygiene, LISTERINE® is promoting an “Oral Care Challenge” for families to take on this year.  To complete the challenge, kids, alongside their parents, have to brush, floss and rinse every day, twice a day for three weeks—a key step in building a strong oral care foundation.

I was more than happy to take the challenge. I am constantly telling my kids "go back and brush more" because their perception of a 2 minute brushing is more like a 20 second brushing. To be honest, I have a really bod habit of not brushing before bed so I was hoping that this challenge would help improve my habits as well.

To help facilitate the challenge, I received an amazing Oral Care Kit with the following products:

REACH Toothbrushes featuring Batman, Barbie, and Phineas & Ferb (for ages 3+) featuring soft bristles, small head sizes, and ergonomic handles designed with little mouths and hands in mind.

LISTERINE Smart Rinse featuring Mint Shield, Barbie, & Phineas & Ferb (ages 6+) anticavity fluoride rinse that protects teeth against cavities and cleans the mouth, strengthening teeth 99% better than brushing alone.

REACH Total Care + whitening toothbrush designed to whiten teeth by removing stains using exclusive Calcium Carbonate Micrawhitening bristles, features a tongue cleaner, an angled neck, and precision-grip handle with thumb hole.

REACH Total Care multi-action toothbrush designed to remove 90% of plaque, featuring a tongue cleaner, angled neck, and precision-grip handle and thumb hole.

REACH Total Care Plus Whitening Floss designed for superior plaque removal and whitening.

REACH Access Flosser makes flossing as easy as brushing, is designed to easily reach back teeth and help freshen breath, and has a flexible handle that helps get to places that are hard to reach.

LISTERINE Total Care Zero complete fluoride mouthwash with less intensity and no alcohol.

LISTERINE Antiseptic proven to kill missions of germs that flossing may miss.

Additionally, I was sent a reward chart and tips for optimizing oral care.  So, I have accepted the challenge and hope that over the next three weeks my children and I spend more time on teeth cleaning and develop healthier routines for the morning and evening. I will report back in three weeks and let you know how it went!

I was provided with the above mentioned products for the purpose of facilitating this challenge. Information was provided by the company and all views expressed are my own. No other compensation was received.
