In February 2012, Purex, the trusted name in laundry detergent, will be launching new UltraPacks detergent. The new product features pre-dosed liquid detergent packs that makes laundry duty easier and quicker. One single UltraPack contains all the performance of their Triple Action liquid formula. The packs allow you to get just the right amount of detergent without risking messes and spilling. The UltraPacks dissolve quickly once the washer is started - even in cold water. They are formulated and safe for all machines, include high-efficiency (HE). They are available in both Mountain Breeze and Free and Clear.
Review: My daughter has finally reached the "allowance age" and she decided that one of the chores she would like to help me with is the laundry. Having her pour detergent into the cup and then again into the drawer turned out to be a very messy experience. These made it so much easier and she was amazed that all she had to do was to place the small packet into the drum.
We were given the Free and Clear variety to review. It worked just as well as the liquid detergent, though I did find that on occasion the plastic around the detergent did not completely dissolve and I had to pull it out of the drum and discard it. The Free and Clear was truly free from dyes and scents so it did not bother my sensitive skin. Plus, my clothes came out as clean.
