The Lint Lizard is a dry vacuum attachment that cleans lint out of a dryer. It is like a magic wand that cleans deep in any dryer. It attaches to almost any vacuum hose and features a long flexible reach. The special fan nozzle is designed to clean vent screens. It is 40" long, allowing you to clean deep into your vent system. The company claims that cleaning your dryer vents will help your dryer be more effective and also prevent vent fires.
Review: The attachment was extremely easy to connect to your vacuum. The hose is made of a sturdy, yet flexible plastic, that is designed to fit into your dryer vent (both internal and external). My vent is very narrow and I had a bit of a difficulty getting it to fit into it but was able to do so. Unfortunately, I was only able to try the product for about 30 seconds before my vacuum started smoking! I am not at all implying that this was because of the Lint Lizard and it is likely due to the old age of my vacuum. What I was able to see in my few short seconds of reviewing the product was that the Lint Lizard attached easy, has a decent suction, and was able to clean out my vent deep down (an area I had no idea was so full of lint!). Looks like I am off to the store to buy a new vacuum. One of my first tasks will be to clean out my vents fully now that I realize how filthy they really are!
