TruKid Review and GIVEAWAY!!

TruKid is a company with a goal of spreading the word about helping our kids create healthy habits, starting with their skin. They also want kids to have fun while using their products. TruKid is a California-based company that has created a natural, value-priced skincare line.  They care about your children and the environment. They strive to use innovative and green packaging which facilitates recycling and minimizes waste. Whenever possible, they replace traditional materials with ones that are biodegradable or recyclable.

Their products are so obviously created for kids. The names are fun, the bottles are bold and colorful, and they use "TruKid Learning System" symbols to enable children to identify what part of the body for which the product is intended.

Review: . The Silly Shampoo is created to be safe for kids' sensitive skin and hair.  It is also intended to effectively removes surface oil, and dirt without stripping natural oils. Lightly scented with TruKid’s essential oil blend, there are no parabens, SLS, artificial colors or fragrances in this biodegradable formula. The smell was very pleasant and sweet and both of my children loved the scent.  It worked really well on both of my children's hair and they were able to easily rinse it from their hair. The result was clean and shiny heads of hair. My daughter has sensitive skin and she had absolutely no reaction to this shampoo.

Detangler is an essential product with my daughter.  The Dancing Detangler has a special non-sticky formula that takes the pain out of combing and brushing your child's hair. TruKid assures it works great on hair of all ethnicities. I found that this product worked fairly well. I did think that I needed to spray a bit more of this product for it to achieve the same effect of my regular brand, but it did the job in the end. The scent was very faint and almost undetectable.

They also included a sample of their new Rock'in Rash Relief. The serum ointment is formulated to relieve eczema, diaper rash, general rashes, bug bites, skinned knees, scrapes, athlete's foot, dry skin and more.  The ointment is fairly watery which made for a little bit of a mess when I squeezed it out of packet, but it made it really easy to apply to the skin.  The
serum made my skin really smooth and helped soothe some of my eczema. I can see that it will be helpful for minor injuries and "ouchies" on my kids. My only complaints is the smell which reminded me a bit of  bug spray but did, fortunately, fade after about 5 minutes.
