Review: I really enjoy popcorn but have not thought to turn to it as my mid-afternoon snack that I allow myself at work.  Since my job can be pretty stressful, I tend to start my day with good dietary intentions which typically go out the window by lunch. Since weight gain has been an unfortunate effect of my unhealthy snacking, I was ready to take the "Healthy Snacking Challenge" and begin substituting SmartPop! for my usual snacks. Orville Redenbacher's SmartPop has helped me stay on track. A bag not only fills me, but totally satisfies my need for a snack while not adding inches to my waisteline. After a week of eating it, I found that I started to look forward to eating it every day and have not missed the cookies or other unhealthy foods that I was indulging in.


The Pop-Up-Bowl is a really cool feature and makes eating at my desk really easy and much less messy than a classic bag of popcorn. There is a light butter and salt taste to it and the taste is quite good. I am used to unhealthy popcorn dripping in butter so it took a couple of days to get used to this healthier alternative but am totally enjoying it now.  I am going to continue to make an effort to replace my normal, unhealthy snacking with SmartPop!
