Out of all the apparel that is usually worn, I would have to say that the shoes deserve the utmost attention and budget of all. First, it is because you will get to wear your shoes more often than any of the pieces of clothing that you will buy. Second, the shoes give the most influence to the overall comfort that you will be having in a certain get-up. Lastly shoes can make or break an outfit. Thus investing on shoes is a worthy purchase. Unfortunately, the some of the best shoes are also the most expensive ones. And buying a good pair of shoes can be somewhat expensive.

The number one way of saving costs from shoes is to avoid purchasing one or making your shoes last. I do not see any reason why you should not consider army surplus shoes. Personally, when it comes to shoes, I do not think that the brand matters. But naturally, the best brands make some of the best shoes. This does not mean that surplus brands make poor shoes in terms of quality and style. Army surplus shoes, though diverse, do not have as much style selection compared to that of civilian stores. However, you will be getting the shoes for very low prices and army grade construction guarantees that you will be getting really tough shoes. This makes army surplus shoes ideal for everyday casual attire and performance intensive activities.
3. Perform a thorough inspection
Sadly, not all shoe makers give warranties. Thus, I strongly suggest looking at the construction of the shoe if it looks sturdy or if it has a potential to easily break. Carefully inspect if it was glued or sewn together. High quality shoes are sewn while glued shoes tend to get damaged easily. Look at multiple copies of the shoes and choose one that has the best construction.
4. Shop with Discounts
The most obvious way to save money with shoe purchase is through discounts. However, it is quite hard to find discounts for good shoes on malls. However, this is not a problem anymore as there are online discounts to be had such as Kohls coupon code. Of course, I am all for trying the shoe out first. I suggest checking the shoes out at the mall and purchase it later online using a promotion code. By then you should have the proper model and size in mind.
