If your little girls is anything like mine then she probably wants to be just like you. My daughter spends a lot of time going through my jewelry box and begs me to let her wear some makeup. Call be old-fashioned, but I am just not agreeable to letting a 6 year-old run around with a fully made-up face! Little Cosmetics creates pretend makeup that looks and feels just like real makeup; however, it does not show up on skin or rub off on fingers. This is the perfect product for the girl who wants to be just like mom but can’t be fooled by plastic, toy makeup.

Review: My daughter was thrilled when I presented her with her own makeup kit. I did not let her know that it was pretend because I wanted to see if she would accept it as real makeup. I will admit that I was skeptical that she would buy the kit as real but it was pretty convincing. The tools looked just like the ones that I use and the powder makeup was made of foam which really felt like the real thing. Even the containers looked real. The set itself was very nice and I loved how every kind of makeup was represented in shades that are attractive to little girls.
My daughter spent almost 30 minutes applying her "makeup" and the only thing that clued her in to the play aspect of the kit was the lip gloss. Since she has used real lip gloss, she knows what it looks like on the tube. Even after examining her face, she had no idea. I was amazed and thrilled! Now she can wear "makeup" everyday and feel like mommy but I don't have to worry about her growing up too quick. She even has the neighborhood girls trying out her makeup and not a single one of them accept it as anything but the real deal!
