Covergirl & Olay Review

I usually stay away from foundation because I hate the caked-on look and subsequent break outs that occur. However, Covergirl's commercials (you know the ones with Ellen) for their Covergirl & Olay Tone Rehab intrigued me enough to give the foundation and powder a try. Covergirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation is formulated to smooth the appearance of rough surfaces to give your skin a radiant finish while also hydrating your skin and helping to improve skin tone over time.

The Covergirl & Olay Pressed Powder is made from gold pearls, yellow iron oxide, and silk mika which, according to the companies, work together to help provide natural looking skin with an energized appearance and healthy radiance. It is designed to help brighten skin tone while softening the look of imperfections.

Review:  If I had to wrap my impression of these products into one word it would be AWESOME. The Foundation smells so good and applies smoothly to the skin, leaving my skin looking great even though it did not feel like I was wearing foundation thanks to the breathable and light feel to the makeup. The Pressed Powder finished off a very polished look, keeping my face looking fresh and shine-free. I have not purchased Cover Girl cosmetics in years, instead opting to spend twice (or three times) as much on department store makeup. No more! I was so happy with these products that I am convinced that Cover Girl has come a long way with their makeup line since I used them last (probably decades ago).

Buy it here: Covergirl & Olay products can be purchased at your local mass merchant, drug, and grocery stores.
