I am always looking for new places to take my children on our annual family vacation; however, the never ending rise in cost for hotels, fuel, food, and entertainment usually keeps us in the tristate area. When I heard about SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience I was immediately intrigued by the amazing savings offered in this program. From free children's admission to museums to percentage off helicopter rides, this program could help adults either with or without children enjoying sunny San Antonio without completely breaking the bank.
Ongoing and Limited Time Offers include deals in the following categories: hotels & resorts, theme parks, museums, sightseeing, adventure and shopping. So, what would my family and I do if we were to visit San Antonio for a week?
Day 1: We would stay at the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk Hotel where we can save between $119-$249 on our stay! It overlooks the beautiful riverwalk! Then we would head to Sea World for a day where we could purchase a 4 pack of admission tickets for $189.99. These tickets would cost about $220 at the gate!
Day 2: My kids love amusement parks so we would definitely need to go to Six Flags! There are some really cool discounts available like Buy One Get One Free admissions or "Everyone Pays Kids Price". Since tickets can cost about $60 it would definitely be worth going on a weekday in order to use the BOGO offer!
Day 3: Of course, it would be necessary to visit the Alamo and SAVE entitles you to receive a free gift when you purchase $15 or more from the Official Visitor Information Center (for a limited time only). Plus, you can get $2 off children's Alamo Sightseeing Tours. Then, we would head to the McNay Art Museum where my children would get in for free!
Day 4: On the last day of our stay, we would go to the Natural Bridge Caverns where we can enjoy $2 off adult and $1 off children's Discovery Tour Tickets. My kids love Ripley's museums so we could also enjoy $1 off ticket prices to the Ripley's Believe it or Not! museum and Louis Tussaud's Wax Works.
