Purell Advanced Hand Sanitizer Review & Giveaway

I don't know about you, but I stock up on hand sanitizer this time of year. Purell Advanced Hand sanitizer kills germs on hands to help protect against the spread of infection.  The new advanced formulation kills the most germs - just one squirt kills as many germs as two squirts of any other national brand....99.9% of the most common germs as a matter of fact! In addition, it has been clinically proven to be effective in helping maintain skin health and has four nourishing skin-conditioning agents in a skin-friendly formulation that is gentle on hands.  It is available in full size pump bottles as well as portable 1 fl oz Jelly Wrap Carriers that are perfect for throwing in your purse or your child's bookbag. They are available in the following formulations: Refreshing Gel, Aloe, Ocean Kiss, and Spongebob Spalsh. Plus, the Jelly Wraps are available in some fun, seasonal scents to include Holiday Spice, Wintergreen Mint, Sweet Plum, and Christmas Tree.

Review: I really love Purell - it is my favorite hand sanitizer by far. Unlike other sanitizers which require two squirts and then leave your hands soaked after trying to rub it in, Purell does the job with one squirt and quickly absorbs into your skin. Although all hand sanitizer can be drying, I have found that this brand is the least drying of all that I have tried.  I love the Spongebob design which obviously targets kids and helps to promote hand hygeine among little ones. The to-go Jelly Wraps are also great and my kids stuck them right on their book bags. This time of year they often have impromptu treats brought in by other kids so having them quickly sanitize before eating is a great way to help them avoid dreaded colds.  The scents and seasonal designs are a nice touch, though the smell of alcohol is still more prevelent than the added scents.

Buy it here: Purell Advanced is available at major mass, food, and drug locations. It retails for $2.99 for an 8 fl oz pump, $1.49 for a Personal Pump, and $1.49 for a 1 fl oz Jelly Wrap Carrier. You can check out their website for some money-saving coupons!
