They are thick and very warm and seem to be made of high quality material making them quite practical...but they are really fun too! My daughter really loves her pair. As long as her foot is in the whole way, the ears pop perfectly when she walks and runs and she loves playing around with our dog who seems fascinated by the Unicorn and tries to "catch" it when she runs around. I know you may be skeptical about "as seen on TV" products, but rest assured that this one works and is definitely a nice bargain!
