Valentine's Day Treat Idea
Tastefully Simple is a direct sales company who offers a wide range of convenient, easy-to-prepare foods designed with the busy family in mind. Just in time for Valentine's Day they are offering a "Share the Love" combo featuring a Very Cherry Cheese Ball Mix and Chocolate Twisty Grahams. The Very Cherry Cheese Ball is simple to make. You simply combine one packet (box comes with two) with 8 oz softened cream cheese, chill 2 hours, then shape into a ball and serve. They can be eaten with the Twisty Grahams or with sugar cookies.
Review: This dessert was like nothing I have ever tasted before. We love to make dips for our "Family Game Nights" and enjoy trying different ones each week. This one was a real hit with the family. It was perfectly sweetened and tasted so delicious with the Chocolate Twisty Grahams. Picture a way to make chocolate covered cherries into a dip and this is what you have! I did find that there was more dip than grahams so you will probably need to plan on either getting an extra bag or eating the rest with other graham crackers (which did not have quite the perfect blend but was still quite tasty). I couldn't get the mixture to form into a nice ball, but no one seemed to mind at all. There is also a recipe for No-Bake Cherry Chocolate Cheesecake on the box that can be made with the remaining packet of Very Cherry Cheese Ball Mix and I can't wait to try it! This is definitely a great and easy mix for Valentine's Day (or just about any day!).
